Are you waiting for something to happen first?

Are you waiting until you understand the entire Bible?

There are lots of things that we enjoy without understanding them.  Things like TVs, automobiles and cell phones, yet we don't wait until we understand them before we use them.  The Bible says, "now is the day of salvation".  2 Corinthians 6:2

Are you waiting for a certain "feeling" that should take place before you accept Jesus?

There is an old story about a man leaning on a ax next to a tree.  The day was very cold and when someone asked him what he was doing he said, "Oh, I am going to cut down this tree." 
He was asked, "What are you waiting for?"
His reply was, "I'm waiting until I start to sweat first.  I'm not going to make one swing until I perspire first".
He froze to death because he waited.  The Bible says, "now is the day of salvation".

Are you waiting for the right time?

It's here!  Today is the day.  The Bible says, "now is the day of salvation".

Are you waiting until your life is cleaner, not so full of sin?

God wants you to come just as you are.  The invitation of the Bible is for sinners because "all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God".  (Romans 3:23)  It doesn't matter what you have done (theft, rape, murder, Etc.), Jesus wants to forgive you and make you clean.  Remember, we cannot make ourselves clean anyway, only God can do that.  The Bible says, "now is the day of salvation".

  "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."   Isaiah 1:18

There is no reason to wait any longer.  Now is the day of salvation. 

Don't resist!  Let Jesus do what He wants to do in your life, right now!
