Prophets & Kings of Israel and Judah

Much of the Old Testament is about the prophets and kings of this time period.  As mentioned earlier, the Kingdom of Israel split after the death of King Solomon into Judah (two tribes) & Israel (10 tribes).

Jesus was of the lineage of King David which was part of the two tribes that made up the Kingdom of Judah.
