"The only purpose of this site is to help people to come to know the Lord better and to love and trust Him more."

This book, The Great Controversy, begins with Jesus weeping over the city of Jerusalem.  It looks at the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. and continues the story of the battle between Good and Evil in a chronological, easy-to-read manner.  Towards the end of the book it shows, in a way that is easy to understand, what the Bible says is yet to happen.  The book ends with what the Bible says about the total removal of sin and the earth being recreated.

It is tempting to jump right to the end of the book, but you are encouraged to begin at Chapter 1 and read from the beginning to the end without skipping any chapters.  Part of this book shows how God has been working for His people down through history.  If you miss a chapter you may miss a very important piece of the puzzle, or even miss what is being said altogether.

As is stated on the Purpose page of this site, "this web site is not meant to be controversial."   This book is controversial though, because of its topic; you cannot talk about controversy without being controversial.

If you find something being said that bothers you, pray that the Lord will show you the truth (even if it hurts) and that He will not let you believe a lie.  If you want to know the truth, but not sure you are ready for it, then ask Him to make you ready to handle what He wants to tell you.  Tell Him what you think and if you want to know what He thinks, then ask Him to show you.  (Just keep in mind that God does not always help us to understand everything right away.  It may take days, weeks, months, or even years before we are ready to handle all that He wants to teach us, but it is amazing to see how carefully and patiently He works with us.  What love!)

The Lord has promised to bless you as you seek Him first. (Matthew 6:33)
