(These images are sized to fit a typical 2"x3.5" business card allowing a 1/16" trim on all 4 sides.  Actual size is 3.627" x 2.127" at 300 dpi.)

 

Here are a set of steps for creating "business cards" using OverNightPrints.com, an online commercial printer. (Of course this is not the only way of printing these.)

  1. Right click the "Front" image above that you wish to use and click "Save image as".  Save it to your desktop. 
    (Save the "back" image too, if you are going to print on both sides.)
  2. Once the above image(s) are saved on your desktop click  http://www.overnightprints.com/  to open their site in a new window, or tab.
  3. Click the "Business Cards" link on their site and then click the "Upload Your Design" link.
  4. In the "File Upload" box, click the "Browse" button(s) to find each image above that you previously saved to your desktop.
  5. When you have found the images you want to use just click the "Upload" button.
  6. Once the image(s) are uploaded you will be given a preview and given several more options.
  7. Specify how many cards you wish to order and choose whatever other options you want, then click the "Submit" button.
  8. The next page will show a preview again and show what your final cost will be, including shipping.  (credit card or PayPal required)
  9. Follow their prompts to complete your order.

At this point in time (May 9, 2009) OverNightPrints.com charges $1.98 for 25, or $9.95 for 100, single sided "value" cards.  If you wanted to print on both the front and the back the price would be $2.95/25, $14.95/100, or $49.95/1000.  (The "glossy finish" is a very nice option.)
