Special Note:

" But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief."   1 Thessalonians 5:4

"So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, [even] at the doors."  Matthew 24:33

Some people believe that when they see all these things beginning to happen that they will make the change and begin to trust God.  Others believe that it is not good to try and understand what will be the signs of Jesus soon return because then it will be easier to think that they have more time yet to "do the fun things".

If you were to die today your fate would be sealed anyway, so the above arguments are not Biblical.  Jesus wants us to know what will happen so we will not be surprised or afraid when we see things going on around us that are not good.

It actually takes more that a "belief" in God as many see it.  The Bible says that the Devil "believes" but we know that he will not be saved.  The '"belief" that the Bible is speaking of is a real trust, a belief that God will do the right thing for you and for all the Universe.  So really trust God, believe in Him and He will take care of you beyond your wildest dreams.
